  • Workshops can be booked directly though our scheduling system found here.

    Choose your frame size, pick a date/time that works for you, and you’ll receive a confirmation email after booking.

  • All workshops are non-refundable, if you need to reschedule you may do so 1 time up to 48 hours before the start of the class. Use the link in your confirmation email to reschedule the class. Classes cancelled within 48 hours will not be refunded, and will be asked to pick a different date to schedule.

  • Class is entirely self paced, but typically last 2-5 hours depending on the size of frame you choose, and the complexity of your design. You’ll never be rushed through class, so take your time and enjoy the process. 

  • Our classes include all of the tools, materials, and instruction for you to create your own rug. We will set up your frame, so you can arrive fully prepared to create. Once finished, we glue, back, and shear the rug so you will receive a completed piece.

  • No experience needed at all! Our workshops are available to those of all skill levels, and there is something for everyone. We are beginner friendly and include step by step guidance and setup allowing you to finish your rug during the class. 

  • Just yourself, comfy clothes, snacks (if any dietary restrictions) and your creativity. We provide all of the tools and materials - yarn, backing cloth, frames, machines, and finishing supplies. 

  • Choose a design that most interests you! As long as you have followed our design guidelines you can make it! If you have a special project that needs a little extra attention - contact us for some help before scheduling!

  • Absolutely, you will upload your own design when booking your class! Simple bold shapes with clear outlines work best for first time tufters. Read through our design guidelines to ensure your design will work well.

  • We can! With enough notice, we are happy to travel to you. Pricing will vary depending on the distance, class size, and frame size. Please fill out this form to inquire!

  • You are welcome to use as many yarn colors as you’d like. We have a large selection of yarns available at the studio. 

  • We have a select palette of yarn colors available, so if you need a specific color of yarn - please contact us prior to your class date and we will do our best. Ordering a custom color may cost extra, and need an extended time before the start of class to arrive. 

  • After you finish tufting your rug, we will glue it up and allow it to dry for 24 hours. We will then back, shave, and finish the rug and return it to you within 1 week of finishing the class. If you need your rug shipped to you, please select that option while booking your class.

  • That will depend on the design and the frame size you select. For example - if you selected a 20” x 20” frame, and submitted a square shaped design, it can be 19” x 19. We will make the rug as large as we can. 

  • Due to the process, you will not be able to take your rug home with you. The adhesive needs time to dry, and I need a bit of time to shave and back your rug. I am just a 1 man show, so please allow a bit of grace. 

  • Yes! We can host groups of up to 12 people in our space. It is the perfect workshop for team building, birthdays, creative hangouts, and date nights. Please fill out this form to inquire about group availability.

  • Yes! I would love to have your kiddo in the studio. If you believe your kid is able to tuft, we are happy to have them. Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and must be able to lift 4 lbs for up to 3 hours, and be patient enough to complete their rug. If you are unsure if your kiddo can join, please reach out and we can discuss further!

  • Yes! Fuzzy Space is ADA accessible, with no stairs into the studio and a wheel chair ramp to our restroom. We have built our studio with differently abled folks in mind. We are happy to accommodate any needs you may have.

  • Your rug is not machine washable, so it will do best in a low traffic areas or hung on the wall. You can spot clean your tufted rug or use a carpet cleaner. Feel free to reach out and I can send more in depth information.

  • Yes! Custom rug commissions are available here.
